50 Shades of Grey it is not …
Lockdown may be wearing a bit thin but one its blessings has been a little more time to curl up and get lost in a good book.
Tales of adventure, derring-do, travel, history – all there for us to lose ourselves in whatever magical moments of me-time we’re lucky enough to grab.
One mighty tome unlikely to be on anyone’s list is the British Retail Consortium’s latest report.
It’s hardly 50 Shades of Grey but it does tell us that last month, almost half of non-food shopping was spent online. 47.8% so they say.
So where does that leave any of us with a poor or zero web presence?
Up Schitt’s Creek – or heading there fast. Most likely.
But this isn’t just about retail.
If it’s a service which you provide, a poor web presence is doing you no favours at all.
You don’t need to be called Sherlock to work out that Covid-19 has turned the world upside down and moved us online.
And that genie isn’t about to be stuffed back in the bottle anytime soon.
The truth is, a decent website needn’t cost you a fortune.
In fact, just a handful of sales could pay for a new site.
To help you do battle online we’re offering two £100 vouchers for any site ordered by the 31st January 2021.
And it’s first come, first served.
But why should you bother?
Because you’re worth it. Your business is worth it and your family and all those who depend on you are worth it.
Food for thought?
