I think you’re so cute …

Tired of the “heart-crushing sterility of dating apps” freelance writer Sophie Cockerham decided a new approach was needed.

Picking up on something she’d seen trending on “X” she decided to give it a go.

And giving it a go involved nothing more remarkable than having some business cards printed.

But it was the message printed on them that was key.

And it read:

Hi! I think you’re cute.

My Name is Sophie

I’m bored of dating apps, so if you think I’m cute as well, then get in touch.

Hat’s off to Sophie for taking a massive bravery pill and many of which were needed as her story recounts.

I haven’t seen an update on how it turns out for Sophie but either way, this must count as the most innovative use of Business Cards I’ve seen in a lifetime of printing them.

Sometimes, we’re all so busy looking for the next big thing. That sure-fire silver bullet, that we forget to keep things simple.

And the answer can very often be found right under our noses.

Printing your message on your business cards and giving them out is about as simple as it gets.
