Pride comes before a fall …
After a long dismal winter, Spring has well and truly sprung.
Lambs gambol in the fields, the cherry blossom is bursting out in hedgerows all around, and crops in the fields are greening up as the sun puts its hat on and comes out to play.
Our lives run at such a hectic pace that these little Springtime miracles often go unnoticed.
But a very welcome Easter break has allowed us to slow down and marvel at the show nature unfailingly puts on for us at this time of year.
All of this occurs so naturally that it’s easy to assume that it happens automatically. But does it?
The lambs are only here now because the ewes and rams are put together at just the right time in the Autumn.
The crops are only springing up because they’ve been planted in a well-prepared seedbed at just the right time.
That’s because there’s a plan.
An unspoken acknowledgement that things have to follow a sequence.
There’s no harvest if all the hard work isn’t put in at just the right time – one thing needs to happen before the next.
And there are no shortcuts.
Tinker with it too much or try to take a shortcut, and it’ll go awry.
Pride comes before a fall!
Just a thought as you plan your new website or get ready for that big exhibition later in the year.
So, if you’ve got any projects you’re thinking of pressing ahead with, I’m on hand for a chat about anything to do with Print or Web Design.
Stay safe.
